⬥ Building Trust and Community Across Boundaries ⬥
We are arranging some physical roundtable meetups to discuss topics around leadership and collaboration. The event takes an offset in the findings from our interviews and the research conducted for our book “Liberating Organizations” (https://liberatingorg.com/)
The purpose is to give the participants the opportunity to have dialogue, learn from each other, and explore evolutionary potential in the present:
- What is the current situation like, an assessment?
- What are the challenges?
- What plausible and achievable objectives can be set?
- What practical interventions can be used?
We will talk a bit about what we discovered in the interview round, and how it is possible to create an organization based on trust where there is freedom for the individual to engage, take responsibility, and create value, without ending in chaos. The agenda is currently:
- A short presentation of discoveries through the interviews conducted with special attention on building trust as the basis of freedom.
- Assessing the current situation of leadership together in small groups, trawling for evolutionary potential in the present.
- Plenary presentation and discussion.
- A final presentation of our latest work on the follow-up volume: “The Case for Trust.”
We have planned some 2-2½ hour events, with the possibility of hanging around afterwards for further discussion. The cost is covered by the organizers, but there is a no-show fee of SEK 300 / DKK 250. If anyone is willing to contribute, we ask that a donation be sent to Ukraine.
