How Cross-functional is a Scrum Team really? Free Webinar Wednesday the 12. February 2020 at 15:00 CET

Continuing the free follow up webinars for those who have participated in our Scrum and Agile Lean Leadership courses. The format is a short presentation of an interesting or new topic (20-30 min) and then an opportunity to ask – also general – questions and participate in the diskussion (ca 20 min). Held in Danish or English depending on the audience.

The next follow-up Webinar, will take place on Wednesday the 12. February 2020 at 15:00 CET. The topic this time is How Cross-functional is a Scrum Team really? There is often a debate about cross-functionality in Teams, is it necessary, can we achieve it, this happens especially when we are outside pure software projects. Lack of cross functionality will compromise important aspects of Team work. We touch on the most common issues and how to avoid them or minimize negative consequences. We try to highlight the values. The question need to be asked: is the investment in cross-functionality worth it?
  • Try to rethink the composition of the current Teams
  • Try to get Team members to work together on backlog Items, In programming we talk about pair programming, the concept canmake sense in other domains.
  • Use the backlog refinement activity to spread understanding to the whole Team
  • When given the opportunity, choose technologies that more people can participate in
